Calvin Cooledge - Graduate from Amherst College. Served as the 30th president of the United States from 1923-1929. Cooledge never actually went to law school, instead he apprenticed at a local law firm before opening his own practice. Eventually he worked his way up in Massachusetts politics, and was selected to run as vice president with Warren G. Harding. After Hardings death, Cooledge took over the presidency.
Jack Nicklaus - Graduate from Ohio State University. Nicklaus is a professional golfer that many call the greatest of his time. He began his professional career at the age of 21 and is still third on the all time list of most PGA Tour event victories with 73.
Johnny Carson -Graduate from the University of Nebraska. Carson was a the origional host of The Tonight Show. Over his career he won many awards including six Emmys, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1992.
E. B. White -Graduate from Cornell University, class of 1921. He was an american writer and contributor to The New Yorker magazine. He also wrote many childrens books including Stuart Little, Charlotte's Web, and Trumpet of the Swan.
Eugene Cernan - Graduate from Purdue University. He was an astronaut and during Apollo 17 became the eleventh, and last person to have walked on the surface of the moon. He traveled to space three times during Gamini 9A, Apollo 10, and Apollo 17.
Edmund C. Lynch -Graduate from Hopkins University. Lynch was a founder of Merrill and Lynch, which currently holds over 2.2 trillion in client assets. Lynch started as a stock broker and gained notoriety when he forsaw the market crash of 1929.
